ORIENTATION TO THE

PRAYER & MEDITATION GROVE

On October 28, Jerry Schierloh gave the Tuesday Morning Bible Study Group an orientation to the theological and Biblical foundations of the Prayer and Meditation Grove.   His presentation featured a sneak preview of how the Prayer Circle will look and may be used in the Spring when it gets ‘unveiled’¾including pertinent scriptures that will accompany each entry-point or ‘portal’ to the Circle.  Also included was a description of a special attribute of the Grove called the ‘Journey of Life Pathway,’ that wraps around the Prayer Circle and simulates the journey that many followers of Christ make in their pursuit of Christian Discipleship.  Jerry hopes to make similar presentations to various groups of the church to familiarize them with the Biblical basis on which many of the Grove features have been conceived.
