RUNOFF REDUCTION RELIEF

On September 10, two representatives of Milford Seamless Gutter volunteered their time, service, and materials in placing a drainage pipe in a dug ditch that will divert excess drainage water away from the Prayer and Meditation Grove.  Tom Scheare (who attends our Dingmans Ferry United Methodist Church) and his assistant, Alice Austin, ‘dug right in’ and completed the installation of about 20 feet of drainage pipe in just a couple of hours.  The pipe will carry runoff from the downspout that drains rainwater from the northeast corner of the church roof, and safely discharge it into the absorbent leaf litter of the wooded area adjacent to the Prayer and Meditation Grove.  It’s great to have representatives of local businesses contributing to the ongoing development of the Grove!
